First Look: ZeroHour Rebel Microlight Fidget Spinner
Amy Truong & Aaron Son, of ZeroHour and successful Kickstarter projects past look to capitalize on the growing fidget spinner industry with this gadgety attempt at a multi-purpose spinner, the REBEL. An ultrathin spinner with dual LED microlight flashlights, a 608 ceramic bearing, and "fidget-friendly" body.
Somehow, I'm not buying this. It seems gimmicky. Perhaps rushed to capitalize on the fidget spinning craze. I'm a purist when it comes to spinners. I want a well-machined piece of metal housing a high performance bearing. I'm not interested in packing every iteration of EDC into a single device. I am perhaps the only one though as the Kickstarter has blown past it's stated goal of $10,000 on it's way to $50k with 28 days to go.
Pledges start as low as $70 for the entry level Matte Black Aluminum REBEL LED Spinner and end at $210 for the sandblasted titanium model packaged with some former ZeroHour product. Estimated delivery is April 2017.
